
While West had been programming video games since 1989’s Steve Davis World Snooker, Jewett came primarily from a career in finance and Ward had only begun designing art for games in 1993. Video game development studio Neversoft was founded in Los Angeles by Joel Jewett, Mick West and Chris Ward in 1994.
